AssetR

License

AssetR's source code is not publicly published. The compiled application (the Docker image) is free to use under the terms below. This is not an open-source license (e.g. MIT/Apache) — those specifically require the source to be published under that license, which isn't the case here.

You may

  • Download, install, and run the published AssetR Docker image, at no cost.
  • Use it for personal or commercial purposes — including inside a business — as long as you're running it for your own use, not offering it to others as a product or service.
  • Configure and customize it through its own Settings UI and documented environment variables.

You may not

  • Redistribute, resell, or rehost the image (or any part of it) as your own product or service.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code from the compiled image.
  • Remove or obscure AssetR's branding, copyright, or attribution notices.

No warranty

AssetR is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. You are responsible for backing up your own data (see the in-app Backups feature) and for evaluating whether it's fit for your use case before relying on it.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated for future releases; the version in effect for a given release is the one published alongside it.
